We are pleased to share that Dr. Ahmad Fariz Malvi Zamzam from Indonesia recently completed a two-week endoscopy training program at our hospital. The JGES “STARS” program, a training program of the Japanese Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (JGES), was established to invite promising young doctors from Asian countries to Japan and provide them with training opportunities in order to develop leaders in the field of endoscopic medicine in those countries. During his stay, Dr. Fariz shared valuable insights into gastroenterology and endoscopic practices in Indonesia, including the training system and clinical framework. Through these exchanges, we deepened our mutual understanding of endoscopic practice in both countries.
